Fifth Annual Principal For A Day

Thirty-nine business and community leaders found out what a public school administrator's day is like as they shadowed Minneapolis Public School principals on October 27, 2005.

The Fifth Annual Principal For A Day event was sponsored by Carlson Companies and coordinated by Achieve!Minneapolis, Time Warner Cable, and the Minneapolis Public Schools.

Participants

Minneapolis Public Schools Superintendent Thandiwe M. C. Peebles addressed participants. Minneapolis Public School principals and Principals For A Day met for a breakfast kick-off meeting at Olson Middle School. Max Stoll, co- president of the City-wide Student Government, was the emcee for the meeting. Minneapolis City Council President Paul Ostrow spoke to participants about the impact of Principal For A Day on the City of Minneapolis.
