Sixth Annual Principal For A Day

Thirty-three business and community leaders found out what a public school administrator's day is like as they shadowed Minneapolis Public School principals on October 26, 2006.

The Sixth Annual Principal For A Day event was sponsored by Carlson Companies and coordinated by Achieve!Minneapolis, Comcast, and the Minneapolis Public Schools.

  Susan Dreves-Libson and Adam Harrington from Kenny Community School. Ellen Luger, VP and Executive Director, General Mills Foundation and Bennice Young.  
Minneapolis Public School principals and Principals For A Day met for a breakfast kick-off meeting. Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak addressed participants. Arsenio Ward, President, Senior High Citywide Student Government shares his leadership experiences as a student in the Minneapolis Public Schools. Craig Vana, Associate Superintendent, Minneapolis Public Schools tells participants about the logistics of the day.
